One useful overview, with clear limits
Our matrix places each role alongside eight topics: Food Safety, Food Allergen Awareness, Health & Safety, Fire Safety, First Aid Awareness, Manual Handling, COSHH / Cleaning Chemicals, and Licensing / Alcohol Awareness.
It shows relevance based on the information entered. It does not claim that the team has completed training, passed an assessment or met a statutory duty. No individual employee names are needed.
How the checker reaches a result
You enter your business type, UK nation, team size, role totals and practical responsibilities. A central set of published, versioned product rules assigns a status and a short explanation to each category. There is no AI model making decisions about your team.
The rules are our interpretation of general public guidance. Official sources support the underlying topics; the authorities have not approved the matrix or its labels. The rule version appears with your results.
What the status labels mean
Recommended highlights a useful priority for that role. Relevant highlights a direct connection with the duties described. Consider suggests a topic for further review against your workplace arrangements.
Not currently indicated means the answers did not highlight that category. It is not an exemption and should not override actual duties or a workplace risk assessment.
Turn the result into a working plan
Compare the suggestions with existing training records and the tasks people perform. Agree what further instruction, supervision or training would help, who will organise it and when the plan will be reviewed.
Print the result for your own records. Certificate storage, enrolment and automatic reminders are future features. Training purchasing is not available through this version.
Check arrangements that need their own assessment
First Aid Awareness is an introduction to arrangements and responsibilities. It is not a first-aider qualification and does not replace a first-aid needs assessment.
The same practical distinction applies to manual handling, cleaning chemicals and lone work: instruction supports your arrangements for controlling risk. A tick in a training plan cannot replace those arrangements.
